About me

  • I am a California native and grew up in central California.
  • My teams are the “Anaheim” Angels, USC Trojans, Notre Dame and UCLA (in that order.)
  • I was very accident prone as a child.  I’ve been in 13 car accidents, some of which were my fault.
  • I love to write.
  • I was voted “most gullible” in my senior class. Yes, it is in the dictionary, I’ve checked.
  • I rushed and pledged Delta Delta Delta sorority.
  • I was a cocktail waitress at Harrah’s Casino in Lake Tahoe the summer after graduating from college. My summer in Lake Tahoe was the best summer of my life.
  • When I eat M&Ms, I first separate them by color, and then into pairs, and then I eat them by twos.
  • My husband introduced me to baseball and the California Angels.
  • I developed a serious crush on J.T. Snow, the Angels first baseman.
  • J.T. Snow was traded from the California Angels to the San Francisco Giants in 1996. Hence the name “Missing J.T. Snow.”
  • My son is the twinkle in my eye.
  • My crush on J.T. Snow ended when he hit a home run against the Angels in the World Series in 2002.
  • My daughter has neurological problems, and the doctors told us she will be severely mentally retarded for life, should she live past age 5.   She is 4 1/2 and is exceeding her prognosis.
  • I am a stronger person today, and a better human being because of my daughter.
  • My husband is my best friend and the love of my life.
  • I hope to write a book someday about my daughter.

I have been wondering what JT is doing now. I don’t see him on any base ball team and he is one of my favorite players in baseball. I wish you the best with your daughter. Ruthie
