SPF – "Something in your Home"

Kristine gave us an easy one this week since she’s been so busy in sin city and all. I just decided to use this as an opportunity to mention the Freedom Walk one more time.

Something in my home: I used this photo back in October for “something pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness. This my friends is a photo of equipment needed for a special needs child. AFOs* of which we have 3 sets/sizes now, and Jenelle’s crash helmet so she doesn’t split her head open when she has a drop seizure. Who says having a disability means you can’t be fashionable? ;)

So did you play? Let me know and don’t forget to visit Kristine!

Happy Friday!

p.s. – Jenelle’s Avocados is only $68 away from taking over 3rd place! now in SECOND PLACE! WOO HOO! Please help us out if you have the means for a donation! Thanks!

*ankle foot orthotics – which unfortunately can’t be re-used by anyone else and cost $2,000 a pop And that $2,000 doesn’t include the very fashionable pink shoes to go with!

Jenelle’s equipment is much prettier than my DDs. There is a program that takes used orthotics and refurbishes them for use in developing countries. That’s what we’ve done with our daughter’s old AFOs.
